FREE REPORT: Why buy a used police car?
There are many reasons people chose to buy a used vehicle versus a new one. We have done the math and it works out better for smaller agencies to purchase used vehicles rather than a new one. The cost of one new police interceptor can exceed the cost of a completely equipped reconditioned car by several thousands of dollars, and when your department is on a tight budget every dollar counts. We have many customer that have converted from buying one or two new vehicles a year to buying two to five reconditioned cars every year for the less money.
Many customers feel that buying a new car is a loss for the first few years due to the drop in value on a new vehicle when it is purchased. We sell all of our vehicles under loan value to ensure that you get the best deal possible. As soon as you purchase a new vehicle and drive off the dealership lot the vehicle looses value by thousands of dollars. In a used vehicle your ahead from the start, you paid under loan value for the car and there for it is worth more than you purchased it for.
Many individuals that have purchased interceptors from us have explained that they couldn’t afford the sticker price of a new vehicle and opted to purchase one that fell into their budget.
As an individual you cannot purchase a Ford Police Interceptor P71 new from any Ford dealership. Ford is allowed to sell them only to municipal agencies as a new vehicle and not to anyone other than a municipal agency. Once the vehicle is owned by a municipal agency and then sold to a dealer, then at that time it is ok to sell to an individual that is not associated with a municipal agency.
Feel free to shop around and compare what you find out there to what we have to offer and see if we can't help you into a reconditioned vehicle that will meet your needs.
